C'est la vie!

Hello all, I am back from Paris!

I was there from Thursday evening until Monday morning, and I had an amazing time! I basically just saw all the sights, which you can see too on my pictures website. I walked around a lot, the weather was beautiful (60s and sunny the whole time!), and the food was great.

My favorite parts were: being able to speak French to people, spending time in the gardens, and the delicious pastries and cheeses. For those of you that don't know, during my time abroad I have developed a newfound affinity for blue cheese, and had some delicious Roquefort cheese in Paris. In the words of one of my great culinary heroes - Yum-O!

I was a little lonely though, I missed having someone that I knew with me. I was glad to not be traveling with a group of people from my program, though, because it spared me the grief of having to argue about where to go or what to see or when to eat. But I wanted to turn to someone and say, "Look, look we are right under the Eiffel Tower!"

It was a really nice weekend, and I am so glad I had the opportunity to do it.

Now I am back in Prague for awhile! I am looking forward to spending more time here and exploring more of the parks and castles in the springtime. I don't have another big trip planned, but Max is coming to visit me before he starts his internship in Germany, and he is going to hang out in Prague and then I am going to visit Germany right before I go home. My program is also taking a trip to Cesky Krumlov, a small town in the Czech Republic, and then in a few weeks we are going to Krakow, Poland, which should be a great trip, too.

I had an Economics midterm today, and that went well. It was way easier than I thought it would be, which was a nice surprise. During the next few weeks I have some papers due, so I will be somewhat busy with schoolwork.

Also, I applied to be an Academic Peer Advisor again this summer, like I was last summer, and I got the job! So I have something to do when I get back to Ann Arbor, which makes me really happy.

On a different note, Aaron is being an outback adventurer right now, so that is pretty cool. He gets to camp out under the stars!

That is pretty much all that is going on in my world right now - hope everyone is doing well!
